Scrap vs. Sort Optimization
The Scrap vs. Sort Optimization section of the Fabrication Options dialog includes three radio options that represent Minimum Scrap or Minimum Sort preferences. List Area optimizes the entire stocklist area and displays scrap from entire list area.Pipeline(s) is great for large stocklists in shops with limited table and rack space, especially threaded tree space. Some large stocklists have over 100 branch lines. If the List Area Radio button is used on a stocklist of this size, the Cut Pipe reports will optimize Bl2 and Bl99 from the same stick. Change the Pipeline quantity to 10 and the Cut pipe Report will optimize branch lines 1-10, 11-20, and 21-30 in group of ten to complete the total stocklist area.
